Rajasthan Scholarship 2026-27: Jan Aadhaar Check First
Rajasthan’s college scholarship and scooty forms for 2026-27 close on 30 November 2026. Before you fill one, spend ten minutes on your family’s Jan Aadhaar record. The form pulls your details straight from it, and you cannot edit them on the form.
The Commissionerate of College Education opened applications on 1 October 2026, and a Jan Aadhaar card is mandatory. If your caste, income, bank account or mobile number is wrong in Jan Aadhaar, that error goes straight into your application. Fixing it takes days, so check now, not in the last week of November.
Schemes Open Until 30 November
One portal and one deadline cover all of these schemes:
- Mukhyamantri Uchch Shiksha Chhatravritti Yojana (higher education scholarship)
- Devnarayan Chhatra Scooty evam Protsahan Rashi Yojana
- Kalibai Bheel Medhavi Chhatra Scooty Yojana
- Vidhwa/Parityakta Mukhyamantri (B.Ed.) Sambal Yojana
- Balika Doorasth Shiksha Yojana (distance education)
- Financial help for tribal (ST) students with first division results, for tribal students in higher education, and for Sahariya students in college and B.Ed.
One student cannot get both the Kalibai Bheel and the Devnarayan scooty in the same year. Pick the scheme that fits your category before you start.
The 7-Point Jan Aadhaar Check
Open your family’s Jan Aadhaar record through your SSO ID or at an e-Mitra, find your own name as a family member, and check each line below.
| What to check | Why it matters for the form | If it’s wrong |
|---|---|---|
| Your name and date of birth | Must match your marksheet and Aadhaar, or the college may hold the form | Correct it in Jan Aadhaar using your Aadhaar and 10th marksheet |
| Caste / category | Decides which schemes you can choose, and a wrong one sends the form to the wrong department | Update it with a valid caste certificate |
| Religion / minority status | Needed for minority-category scooty and scholarship options | Update the entry in Jan Aadhaar |
| Family income | Most schemes have an income limit, and a wrong figure can cancel the benefit later | Update it with a current income certificate |
| Domicile | Only Rajasthan residents qualify | Link your mool niwas (domicile) certificate |
| Bank account | The money goes straight to this account, which should be in your own name, active and Aadhaar-linked | Add your own account, not a parent’s |
| Mobile number | Used for OTPs and status messages | Update it to a number you actually use |
After any correction, check that the change actually shows in Jan Aadhaar before you apply. The same family record feeds other schemes too, from ration to the annual pension verification for elderly family members.
A Safe Timeline Before 30 November
Jan Aadhaar corrections are not instant, because they can take a few days to be approved. Work backwards from the deadline:
- By 10 November: Finish the 7-point check and submit any corrections.
- By 20 November: Confirm the corrections show in Jan Aadhaar, and ask your college whether it is registered on the scholarship portal.
- By 25 November: Submit the form, leaving a few days for server slowdowns and document re-uploads.
If your college isn’t registered on the portal, you can’t select it in the form. Raise this with the college’s scholarship desk early.
Applying Once Your Record Is Clean
- Log in at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and open Scholarship (CE) under Citizen Apps.
- Enter your Jan Aadhaar number and select your name. Family details fill in automatically.
- Choose the scheme, your college and course, then fill in your marks.
- Upload clear scans of the documents the scheme asks for.
- Click final submit. A saved draft is not an application.
- Keep the application number. Your college verifies the form next, and you can track its status from the same SSO app.
