Rajasthan Pension Verification 2026 Opens: Do It Early

If you receive a social security pension in Rajasthan, your yearly verification window opens on 1 November 2026. Under the state’s pension rules, every pensioner must complete annual physical verification (वार्षिक भौतिक सत्यापन) by 31 December. If you miss it, your payments are stopped until you verify.

This is not a small risk. In late January 2026, just days before the extended deadline, 16,35,769 of the state’s 91,68,997 pensioners still had not verified. That is about 18%, and many of them were elderly people who did not know their status was pending.

This guide shows how to check that status on Jan Soochna, the quickest ways to verify, and what to do if something goes wrong.

Who Needs to Verify in 2026

Annual verification applies to everyone drawing a pension under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department’s social security schemes:

  • Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Samman Pension (old age)
  • Mukhyamantri Ekal Nari Samman Pension (widowed, divorced and single women)
  • Mukhyamantri Vishesh Yogyajan Samman Pension (persons with disabilities)
  • Laghu evam Seemant Vridhjan Krishak Pension (small and marginal farmers)

There is one exception. If your pension was first sanctioned within three months before this verification period, your first verification is due by 31 December of the following year.

Don’t confuse this with the life certificate that retired state government employees submit through the Treasury. Civil and family pensioners have a separate window, from 1 to 30 November 2026.

How to Check Pending Verification on Jan Soochna

You don’t need an SSO ID or any login. The Jan Soochna Portal is open to everyone, and it is the fastest way to see whether your verification is still pending before the payment stops.

Check your own pension record

  1. Open the official portal at jansoochna.rajasthan.gov.in.
  2. Go to the scheme list and open Social Security Pension Beneficiary Information.
  3. Search with the details the form asks for, such as your Jan Aadhaar ID, Aadhaar or PPO number.
  4. Confirm the pension shows as active, then check the last few months of payments. A missing installment usually points to pending verification or a bank-mapping problem.

Check the unverified list for your area

The portal also publishes Information About District Wise Yearly Unverified Social Security Pensioner. Select your district and go down to your block or ward to see if your name, or an elderly relative’s name, is still on the pending list. A related report, District Wise Yearly Cancelled Social Security Pensioner, lists pensions that have already been cancelled.

Check again two or three days after you verify, because the data does not update instantly.

Three Ways to Complete Verification

MethodWhereWhat you needBest for
RajSSP app (face authentication)At home, on an Android phoneRajSSP app, Aadhaar FaceRD app, a working cameraPensioners who can’t travel
e-Mitra biometricNearest e-Mitra kioskJan Aadhaar or PPO number; fingerprint or iris scanAnyone whose face scan fails
Field Verification OfficerYour homeNothing; the officer verifies on a mobile deviceBedridden or very elderly pensioners who missed the window

Face authentication, step by step

  1. Install the RajSSP app and Aadhaar’s FaceRD app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open RajSSP and choose the annual verification option.
  3. Enter the pensioner’s details and scan their face in good light, without glasses.
  4. Save a screenshot of the confirmation screen.

If you verify at e-Mitra, keep the receipt. It is your proof if a payment is held back later.

The rules also cover pensioners who cannot verify themselves. If a living, eligible pensioner misses the two-month window because of old age, illness or lack of information, a field verification officer must verify them at home within the following month. Ask your gram panchayat, ward office or block office to arrange it.

Common Problems and Fixes

  • Face scan keeps failing: Move to daylight, remove glasses and hold the phone steady. If it still fails, go to e-Mitra.
  • Fingerprints don’t register: This is common with age. Ask the e-Mitra operator for an iris scan instead.
  • Verified, but no money credited: First confirm the verification shows on Jan Soochna. Then ask your bank to check that your Aadhaar is mapped to the account for DBT through NPCI.
  • Wrong name, age or bank details: Pension records draw on Jan Aadhaar, so correct the details in Jan Aadhaar first.
  • Pension already stopped: Complete verification right away. If payments don’t resume, register a complaint on the Rajasthan Sampark helpline, 181.
